  • A package was being shipped from Mississauga to Toronto. It took 4 days to arrive at my house - which it didn't actually do anyway... Theoretically they came by my house to deliver it. Oddly they didn't bother to knock on the door. They were kind enough to leave a note saying I could pick up the package at a location in a seedy industrial park an hour and four minute walk from my house. I was very unhappy. I managed to find someone willing to drive me to the middle of nowhere to collect the package the next day (and they will only hold it for five days because their time and space are that precious I guess). I got there and there was one worker and eight people in front of me. They were all even angrier than I was. They were making comments like "I've never had such an issue with having a package delivered as with these people" or "Why are you still giving me the run around" or "What do you mean my package isn't here, I have this thing you left on my door". About 15 minutes into waiting, and about 10 more people coming in behind me, cramming the place, two other employees materialized. I was next in line by this time so I attempted to hand the door note and my ID to one of them. She yelled at me. Then the three of them started shouting "Pick up! Pick up!" and snatching everyone's door notes. They disappear forever. One eventually comes back with one box in her hand. She calls my name. The other two in the back start screaming "It's the wrong one! THE WRONG ONE". She disappears again. Eventually comes back with another box. This one is the right one. So, five days, a 12 km trip out of my way on my own time, and a half hour cluster with rude employees and to think I PAID for this "shipping". Never again. I will purposefully never order from a company who ships with Purolator. I've never had an issue with Fedex, UPS, or Canada Post.
