| - This place is beat. The outside looks nice enough. The lobby is cramped but also nice. That's where the niceness ends. Granted, I booked through Orbitz, so I knew that I'd be getting a subpar room. I underestimated how low "subpar" can go. The air conditioning wasn't on, so the room was sweltering when I arrived. On the upside, the AC worked. On the downside, the device was so beat up and dirt encrusted, I wasn't sure it was safe to breathe the air coming out of it. Breakfast was paltry. There was a waffle iron, bagels, yogurt, but no eggs, bacon, or sausage.
I kept telling myself, "it only cost $79 dollars for the night versus $250 elsewhere." And then I realized that I'm not sure I'd consider the place a deal even at half that price.
