Ate here the other night. It certainly wasn't bad, but I think I built it up in my head too much because of the amazing reviews. The food was good, but not especially memorable. We had the cheddar biscuits which I had been craving all day. My husband and I both found them to be dry and lacking in flavor. My husband had the green chili pork stew (or something of the sort) which the waitress described as being smokey vs spicy. He said it was good, but definitely spicy. I had the short rib because of the amazing reviews. It was good. Not great. Nothing really exciting about it. We also started with the grits which were delicious and I ordered a side of the stuffing because I'm a sucker for it and that was also delicious. Those two things were probably the best part of the whole meal. Would we go back again? Yes, if we were meeting other people or something, but it probably won't make our list again for date night.
