We decided to try this place out after getting some coupons this week. I was excited to see fried okra on the menu. Being a Southern girl from Oklahoma, I was raised eating okra and love it. They didn't disappoint. It was good. The mashed potatoes were great! Lots of pepper, which is the way I make them. The gravy had tons of flavor too. The rolls reminded me of school lunches and melted in your mouth. The iced tea was nice & strong!
The chicken strips were a bit disappointing. While nice & crispy, they lacked seasoning. More salt & pepper! But they are great dipped in the gravy. We will go back and try the bone in chicken, because that tends to have more flavor. Overall good food & good customer service.
