For me, it's not all about the food. OK I take that back it actually is, but not when I'm eating out. The service HAS to be there to make my meal enjoyable. I wish I could look pass that but I simply can't.
And the service was NOT there...the man we had as a server was literally dragging/scuffing (you could hear him approaching) his feet on the ground, he stood about 10-15 feet away from us just staring (there were only 2 tables in the place) and when he wasn't staring he was on his cell phone...not talking just texting or something.
I joined my party late and the very second I sat down he asked me if I was ready to order, no hello. Which was fine I guess maybe I was in a hurry...but come to find out he had done the same to the other two in my party before I arrived. I tried to smile at him and evoke something but nothing, not even a fake I'm trying to live off tips sort of interaction. Zilch.
I've eaten here before...it's OK. I had hoped for more flavor in the broth of the pho but I'm not exactly a pho expert...maybe it's suppose to be fairly bland?
My rating would have 2 stars but I'd been really craving pho so I gave it 3 stars...next time I'll try Pho Saigon 8 down the street...regardless of its mixed reviews.
