The Arizona Grand resort golf course can hardly be listed as a value golf course but I was able to find a great price online.
The club house was packed with people since it serves morning coffee and baked goods for the entire resort. Check in was quick and the staff is always helpful.
Tom was the starter today and got our foursome out quickly. After the obligatory dunking of my tee shot into the first hole lake, I was able to take a drop and actually save a bogey.
Here's a down side. All those people that bought coffee and breakfast from the shop sit outside on the patio and watch the golfers tee off on the first tee. Talk about pressure! Hahaha.
Some other down sides. If you're off the fairway, expect to be hitting from some pretty gnarly desert. Also, (hard to avoid in the desert) the fairways had patches under repair. The greens were in good shape but a touch slow. And it's great that the beverage person checked up on us frequently.
Overall, a great day of summer golf. Check online for some great prices.
