  • Salad King's new location is really cool. It's the same set-up as before, but now upstairs and bigger. They've got pretty awesome restrooms, too. I've heard that it can get really, really busy at this place. I came early with a friend and there were still a handful of people coming constantly. Most of the business probably comes from the Ryerson University students. The part that annoyed me the most when I was there was the service. It took forever for somebody to come and take our order, or even acknowledge us. At the time I came, the restaurant wasn't even half-full, so I didn't understand why it was taking so long. However, after the order was taken, our food came relatively fast. I ordered the Pad Thai, which was delicious. If you don't have a big appetite, then I suggest sharing entrees with someone. Not-so-great service, but a good place for a tasty meal.
