I came here with my friend on a Friday night and it was so packed. We ended up having to wait 15 mins to get a table. The restaurant is nicely decorated and full of friendly staff members!
Appetizer: We ordered fried calamari and shrimp to start off with. It was lightly battered and fried and didn't taste oily! The dipping sauce isn't your typically spicy mayo, but a chipotle type of sauce. It was still very good and has a little kick to it.
For our entrees we ordered a 12 inch pepperoni pizza and cavatelli porchetta. The pizza was very delicious and I loved how they use the legit looking pepperoni. Not the ones that you normally see on pizzas but the huge ones! Lol the pizza itself was alittle oily because of the cheese and mostly from the pepperonis. It made the middle part of the pizza soggy because of how thin they made the dough, but it was still good. The porchetta was so good! The portion size is super small for the price that your paying. It had roasted pork which was so juicy and tender. It had the right amount of fat on it and the pasta that was on it was delicious as well.
We checked in and each got one free dessert! I ordered the sweet potato cheesecake and my friend ordered the tiramisu. Omg it was so yummy!!! The sweet potato cheesecake tasted like a pumpkin pie and it was so light! I love the pistachio that they put on it! The tiramisu was so good and light too! It had the right amount of cocoa on top and not overpowered by the coffee taste.
Overall this place was so good!! No wonder it was voted Number one on foodnetwork!
