  • OTF regulary pops up in my FB feed from friend check-ins and ads. An ad on Thursday said come in for a free work and be entered to win a one month free membership so I entered my information. A rep called me Friday afternoon and since my schedule was free I agreed to class at 7 p.m. I arrived about 6:50, signed my waiver, got my wrist HRM and met Nick, the instructor and got the 411 on what to expect. Nick led us through a rower/ TRX/ dumbbell workout with some ab work included. This portion was circuit style so cardio/resistance. This was the first half of the class. Second half was all on the treadmill. For this portion Nick directed us through a comfortable pace with burst of sprints. He gives you baseline directions for walking or running. I'm not a fan of running so for the sprints I took my incline and speed up. There were a couple times I had to jog just to get into the Orange zone. This was my first class so I'm sure as a regular you become more familiar with what it takes to get into the Orange Zone. This is not the first class I've been to where they have incorporated video monitors to demonstrate the exercise. I think it's great from a participant perspective for form and rep checks. This is the first class I've been to where my personal stats are up on the board. That is what I think makes the class fun. I mean who wants to slack when everyone can see your numbers. After class I got a breakdown of membership prices. I don't remember the specifics but I do like that they offer different packages, unlimited, twice a week and once a week, plus a multi class purchase option. So if you are only looking to make OTF an accessory workout to what you already do they have a plan for you. It was also cool to get my workout breakdown delivered via email later that evening.
