I used to swear by the hospital.
WE HAD BILLING PEOPLE PESTERING US ABOUT THE BILL BEFORE WE HAD EVEN BEEN SEEN.
Went here at 11pm with my boyfriend who had two cysts on his tailbone and couldn't sit down. We told the person when we checked in that it was a cyst. We waited in the waiting room until 5 am. Then when we got back there we didn't have a room to go into so we had to wait in the hallway. They had it charted that we were there for a "red/bruised tailbone"
So that explained why every single person in the waiting room was called before us even if they got there after us as it goes by severity.
People that got there 3-4 hours after us were leaving before us.
Once we told the doctor it was two cysts and not a "red tailbone" he said he couldn't look at it in the hallway and we would have to wait until a room opened up.
This all could've been avoided if they had the real reason why we were there documented.
The doctor walked past us a good five times and saw other people that got there after us, I finally freaked out at 6:30am. (We had been there 7 and a half hours and still hadn't seen a doctor)
After I complained, we were seen, treated and home within two hours. We were there a total of 10 hours. NEVER AGAIN.
