It's a great price for a big room with a microwave and refrigerator, parking, king bed and pretty clean.
There is a nice outdoor pool with a water feature spray.
The breakfast is standard (waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, pastries, oatmeal, cereal) - but there is a lot of waste which makes me sad. Styrofoam plates and cups, ans lots of plastic silverware in the overflowing garbages. All the jams and butters in plastic individual containers. Given the ecological impact that climate change is specifically having on this state it's time to be more conscious about businesses actions. I would love if this chain of hotels would switch to compostable disposables.
We carry our own silverware and a bowl with a lid that can act as a plate. Do that too fellow traveler and lessen the impact. Travel itself is high impact so travel industry businesses like La Quinta could make changes and set standards.
It has great proximity to airport and attractions/etc.
(PS Cubs spring training site near!)
