  • MGM grand is the best bang for your buck in Las Vegas. Every time we come to Vegas, this is the hotel we compare all others to. Yes, the architecture of the building is not as fun and NY NY, nor as elegant as the Venitian, but once you get inside the feeling changes. The check in process is the smoothest. The loyalty program is the most inclusive. The casino layout is the most fluid. The staff is friendly, the games are varied, and the play ranges from penny slots to a respectable high rollers area. The lion habitat is free to view. The rooms are a little dated, but there are so many great deals if you look around. The shows are wonderful (one trip we saw Robin Williams, another Ka), but the best, the best is the food. From celebrated fine dining to great grab and go; when it's time to eat, I head to the MGM.
