It's the largest of Toronto many parks and parkettes. There are lots of community activities happening all year-round; including walking tours and Naturalists Clubs.
In the wintertime, its a great location for making snow angels (Warning: stay clear of the yellow snow), and if the snow is deep enough it's one of my favourite spots for cross-country skiing (ya, I'm old-school like that). For me, there's nothing better then zoning out ala iPod and spending a little time with nature.
There's even a zoo! -or, 'animal paddock' housing: llamas, bison, sheep, and other species of cute creatures.
