  • I took the beginner Ikebana class with my friend from September to December of 2015. Registration was easy. Simply go to the front desk where you may see a very unhappy Japanese girl or a more friendlier Japanese lady, and pay the fees. They suggest you to buy the starter kit (which you must), and a pair of flower shears (I bought mine from Home Depot because it was 1/5 the price). The class itself was enjoyable and easy to learn. You meet a lot of great people which is a plus. The mini party at the end of the semester was fun. I hope to take the intermediate class when I have time!!
