| - I was so pleased with my visit to Good Food. Clearly everyone else has been, too -- at the time of this posting, there were 442 reviews!
I went with a date on a Friday night and anticipated a healthy wait time, but we were seated quickly at a high-top table that provided a great view of the bar and the rest of the restaurant. I asked for an allergen-friendly menu and was pleasantly surprised that the layout had been reworked since my last visit; the new design is much easier to decipher and clearly determine which items adhere to your particular dietary restriction.
We ordered a handful of small plates that were all marked as gluten-free, including the charcuterie, mussels, poached egg, and risotto. Everything was wonderful; the presentation was perfect and the flavors were top-notch. Our server brought me a plate of GF crackers for me to enjoy the chicken liver mousse from our charcuterie board, too, without me asking. It was a very thoughtful gesture.
Even though the place was packed, everything we ordered came out in a reasonable amount of time and we ended up with a few minutes to spare before heading over to Park Terrace for a movie.
The only negative I could come up with for Good Food is that the tables are a little small. If you're ordering tapas, the real estate of the table gets filled up quickly and diners are often left to perform some strange sort of Tetris to make everything accessible to everyone eating.
Good Food is absolutely worth visiting. The dishes are delightful and the service is marvelous.
