| - The first time I encountered this pool, I was blown away. It's not a crazy pool party, but it CAN get that vibe. You will find great chair side service, and plenty of inebriated fools, but you will also find kids playing in the pools, so it can be an odd dichotomy. Parents be warned, there is not a lot of shade for kids, to say it is good for kids might be a stretch, but it is kid friendly.
For me, this is the best casino/hotel pool in Vegas, which can also incorporate family...and it is one of the main reasons I stay at the Mandalay Bay...find the beach!
Lazy river, wave pool, plenty of other pools to soak, and beach sand! Doesn't get much better than this.
Pool bar food is good, not great, but good. Much better than most other pools I've been to, but it is expensive. They have a shaded area that you can eat under.
I've come during the weekends when it's packed, and on weekdays when it feels quiet. It's pretty hit and miss, and will impact your experience...just hope for the latter!
Will probably be one of the highlights to your Vegas vacation! Now in Vegas the 'adult pool' concept has become all the rage, so this is less of an attraction and more of a chill place to hang by the pool and beat the heat. Also good for kids.
In the summer they have a concert series which is always fun, it is after hours (5pm?) and does have a cover charge. If the pool is important to you, this will make the grade!
