| - I usually don't post on these community sites, and I especially am not accustomed to posting on wedding sites (I'm the groom), but my wife and I had such an amazing experience getting married in LV that I decided to share it.
Our situation was somewhat unique. We wanted to get married on our own, secretly, for a variety of reasons. Of course, the first thing that pops into your head when you consider eloping is "Vegas Baby!" We looked at other options but eventually decided on LV due to the number of venues available, wedding servives, and entertainment opportunities for after the wedding. We ultimately settled on the Wynn and I couldn't have been more surprised with the experience we had.
Far from the typical idea of a Vegas wedding, what we experienced at the Wynn was first class all the way. The chapel was beautiful and intimate. Our personal wedding coordinators, Deidre and Darlene, went our of their way to make our day special, allowing us to decorate the alter in the chapel however we wanted and accomodating us in a variety of ways. The Reverend, Rev. Richard Walter, walked us through the ceremony before hand and did an amazing job, even to the point of giving us his personal blessing and making it clear how sincerely happy he was for us. In fact, the entire Wynn staff did such a great job that, even though none of our friends or family were at the ceremony, both my wife and I felt as though we were surrounded by people who truly cared about our future lives together.
If you are planning a wedding in Las Vegas, I encourage you to check out Wynn. Both Michelle and I could not be happier with the experience we had there.
