Dr. Singh misdiagnosed my husband's toxic burns as over wearing of contacts and prescribed an improper medication. When we returned the next day and the first layer of his eyes were peeling off, Dr. Singh lectured my husband about rubbing his eyes, which of course he had not. Dr. Singh completely ignored the allergic reaction he was having to the medication prescribed the day before. During both visits, although my husband's eyes were swollen shut, Dr. Singh rudely forced him to go through a complete eye exam in the bright room. My husband was in tears and Dr. Singh just kept saying open your eyes. Dr. Singh had little patients and no sympathy. My husband was in a great deal of pain an trying to open his eyes. He had to take his hands and force them open. We found a new doctor who immediately realized my husband was allergic to the medication Dr. Singh prescribed, properly diagnosed his condition and provided the proper medication and who was appalled by Dr. Singh's misdiagnosis and treatment of my husband. The new doctor even dimmed the lights in the room to help my husband's pain and could not believe that he had been forced to complete two full eye exams. Dr. Singh did not listen to my husband. He merely declared that he had abused his contacts when that was not the case. Dr. Singh's care amounted to medical negligence, which caused us unnecessary expense and my husband unnecessary suffering and longer to recovery.
