| - If you look at my previous reviews, you can see that I generally only post 5 star and positive ratings... I'm very disappointed to write this 1 star rating.
Here's the long story made short: I went into tan one night and left behind 3 items in the tanning room by accident: a bottle of lotion, a pair of sunglasses and my Michael Kors watch (approximate value $350). Wouldn't you know that after realizing that I had left my items behind, I returned to the salon to find that my lotion and sunglasses had been returned, but NOT my watch. Shocking, I know. I was told that no one had used the bed after me, so only the girl that had been working when I was there had been in the room since.
I spent the next week going to the salon every single day, asking for the manager to contact me or for someone to help give me some answers as my watch had clearly been stolen by the young girl working the counter the day I went in. The manager never contacted me, even after multiple promises from several of the girls who work there that she would reach out.
I emailed the corporate office after one of the girls suggested I do so because they would pull surveillance footage. A week after I emailed, they still had not replied. I sent a follow up email... nothing. I sent a message on Facebook. It notified me that the message had been read, but STILL no one contacted me.
I called the corporate office yesterday and spoke to a very friendly gentleman that told me that the manager said she had done all she was supposed to and that basically the only way for them to help me was if I filed a police report.
Not only did I spend $125 to join this salon, but their employee stole my $350 watch, plus they pulled another $100 from me even after I requested to cancel my account. I have lost almost $600 to be ignored, dismissed and told off. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
If you value your time, your money and being treated with integrity, I suggest you try a different business. Lots of tanning salons to choose from - these locations are managed by incompetent and unprofessional people. Clearly this business is shady and doesn't care about its customers, just the money they swindle from them.
