I used to hate dining alone- however now I like it. I can enjoy every bite and savor each one with out having to pay attention to someone else or talk. I can just focus on my food. Btw, I love food and when I can pair it with the perfect glass of wine- well that's my heaven on earth experience. The service here at the Palm made me feel like royalty. The pretzel roll sprinkled with salt and a touch of butter was salivating my palate with that savory salty taste and butter- what a treat! They even offered more but I didn't need more carbs. I ordered the filet with sautéed spinach. It was so nice to enjoy a slow dining experience enjoying every small bite of red meat with a light pink center. A small bite of filet and a small sip of Cabernet. No need to talk or rush just savor each bite. I love spinach and it even had a few garlic cloves - I had to finish it all - sorry honey. I love garlic too. Enough ranting about my wonderful Vegas dining experience as I was feeling spoiled rotten and just enjoyed the moment.
One thing they could improve is the wine by the glass menu- not many Cabernets were offered by the glass - so I settled on Chateau St. Michele Cabernet.
FYI- there is wine bar in the Ceasar's Palace that offers Caymus by the glass. It's above my budget and Caymus is on of my favorites if you want to splurge on a good glass of cab.
