On her second day at Tutor Time our 19 month old baby was bitten several times on her leg and once on her hand. NO ONE brought it to our attention. I noticed the bite marks as we were getting in to the car and we had to go back to ask about it. As a mom I was furious. The manager didn't know anything, saying no teacher had mentioned it. We were told they would talk to the teacher, who had left for the day, and get back to us ASAP with more information. The next morning we were expecting a call but it never came. My husband finally called them in the afternoon and the manager said she had called him but must've had the wrong number, despite having already called him on that number her first day there. He was told the biter had been identified and they'd had a meeting with the teachers about making sure to bring these incidents to their attention right away. Overall I felt like the whole situation was handled very unprofessionally and decided to find another daycare. I understand things happen when babies play but it's hard to imagine my baby could've been bitten five or six times hard enough to leave marks that lasted for hours and no one noticed. She was also extremely upset when we picked her up and seemed traumatized by the incident. I wouldn't recommend this place.
