My wife and I are dangerously close to pulling the trigger on a new SUV. We have visited BMW, Range Rover and Alfa Romeo dealerships in the Valley. All good experiences inspiring us to sit down and negotiate vehicle price. Are plan is to accumulate the information and experiences of each dealership and make our decision from there.
Lexus was on our list as we are interested in the NX. Now they are off our list. Why? A premium car dealership should not have salesmen swarming/ accosting you before you even exit your car. This behavior lacks class and reeks of desperation.
If I wanted this experience I would be shopping for a Hyundai or Kia. When the customer is the process of making a huge financial commitment towards a premium product, then respect is not too much to ask.
Lexus Superstition Springs has made our process of elimination easier. I must say this experience had caught me off guard. If your looking for a comfortable positive experience, I would urge all customers looking to purchase a premium vehicle to visit BMW or Range Rover dealerships. No pressure kind and friendly salesmen without any hint of desperation.
