I never heard of a "side tip." I gave the Hibachi chef $10.00 cash then put the rest of my 20% tip on my credit card with the bill. The waitress had the nerve to come back and embarrass me in front of all the guests to explain my tip. Then she yelled at me stating that she had to pay the chef $8.00 out of her pocket. I said, "I already gave him $10.00. She told me that's a "side tip." I spent $100.00 total for 2 people and my wife didn't even drink. Here's a tip: avoid this place!
