  • POST-DISCHARGE UPDATE: Good food and excellent wait staff. The care givers were friendly & competent, though understaffed causing delays in assistance requests (plan bathroom visits early). The therapy staff was average to good (no real complaints). The biggest issue was at discharge to another care facility. Coordination and paperwork transfer was poor, and necessary accommodations (i.e. walker, wheelchair, etc.) were never addressed with me or the receiving facility, causing a last minute scramble. Home care orders were written to "Sante Home Care" against my request, causing lots of confusion and issues on the other end - then they refused to correct the problem. OVERALL: The stay was 4-star, but the discharge was 2-star. You need to actively manage your loved one's discharge.
