  • After reading several reviews, we decided to visit this place for our Anniversary dinner. First thought, its a beautiful house converted into a restaurant. The outdoor seating is beautiful, we were shown a center seating, we weren't happy so moved inside. Outdoor is definitely not recommended during summer or if you want to have a nice time. The ambiance is lovely and one star goes for it. They have very interesting cocktail selections and a whole list of wine. We decided to go with Kiwi Sangria and a jim beam based cocktail. It was delicious, perfect drink and price was spot on. We ordered smoked salmon and vegetarian jalapeno peas mushroom starter. Salmon was cooked to perfection and the smoked flavor was amazingly good. The vegetarian dish had a very good flavor, mushroom was spongy and juicy like the way we like. Highlight of the evening was the Lamb rack. Phew!! Thats one hell of a dish. We prefer well done and it was the best lamb we have had in a long time. We have tried at The Ivy in chandler, Red at Santa Monica Pier but this one beat them all. The meat was juicy had absorbed the salt, the crunch flavor on top of the ribs impressed me. We love this place, I removed one star for not having any option in the poultry section. There was no chicken or turkey. That was a little disappointing. Apart from that everything was good. Yes, price is definitely on the higher side, but they are running a offer all this August 20% off your bill. That just made our evening. Would highly recommend it and will definitely go back again.
