  • Went to salon for a hair color change. I am happy with the way the color turned out, but very unhappy with the damage and breakage I'm experiencing now. To remove existing color, a bleach bath was applied to my hair. While blowing it dry to prepare it for color, the assistant used a bristle brush, pulling and tugging on my hair the entire time. Additional color and more bleach for highlights were then applied. I would expect an experienced professional to know that you don't run a brush through just bleached hair since it may cause damage.
