| - I love diners, the vibe, the food, the comfortability. We walked into Mister Steer expecting classic diner food, a satisfying meal of fried foods and milkshakes. We didn't get to make it to the milkshakes, as the discovery of my friend's fish and chips being raw made her vomit in the bathroom. My other friend, who also ordered the fish and chips, consequently threw up when we got back home. I understand that sometimes things happen and this could have been a fluke, but everything else we had was also gross and incredibly overpriced.
A dry, cardboard veggie burger with a single tomato and a few rings of red onion for $15? A side of pre-packaged guacamole for an extra $3? Six mozzarella sticks for $8? This is diner food, and yet my boyfriend and I left with a $45 tab.
The only redeeming quality was the obviously sympathetic waitress who tried her best to accommodate us, but I still think our experience at this establishment was one of the worst I've had at any diner, or any restaurant in general.
