  • We live closest to Port Credit marina and thought we would get a slip there. We put in an application in the winter as instructed and called to follow-up in the spring. The receptionist/person answering the phone was not helpful and kept saying to wait as the bosses upstairs were reviewing the applications and to wait. So we waited and still did not hear anything by end of March and called back again. I was told to wait another week and if I didn't hear then to call back. Again I had to call back and then was given another number to call to speak to someone who deals with the Marina. I actually was on the phone with the GM and he was not very pleasant but indicated they would review our application and that there were lots of 30ft, slips so our chances were good and that they would get back to us. We received a call in May indicating that they would be getting back to us on our application status. It is now June and still no word. In the interim, we went to Bronte Habour and they took care of us that day and got us a slip - no issue. I still can't believe they never bothered to let us know one way or another about our application despite our follow up.
