| - Who doesn't love Wolfgang Puck & his many restaurants?! Cam here late one night- around 2:30am for a late Vegas dinner that wasn't fast food. It is an open restaurant in the casino of the MGM. It wasn't loud when we went, due to the hour. There were only a couple other tables occupied & one server to the whole place. However, service was amazing! The waiter was friendly and courteous in demeanor, and very attentive. The busboy was also very attentive and kept our waters filled and other needs met.
My boyfriend ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which came with a lemon-y vinaigrette side salad. The sandwich was unique, but tasted good to him, and include grapes, and a hearty fruit & nut bread.
We started with the blue cheese truffle potato chips that everyone was raving about. I actually sent them back. I was so excited to try these as I love truffle & blue cheese! But to me, it didn't quite work. The chips were very oily. The sauce was warm & creamy, kind of like alfredo, & there were large chunks of blue cheese, which I actually felt was overwhelming! The warm sauce also made the chips in the middle a bit soggy. The waiter was incredibly gracious when he took away the dish & insisted that we not pay for anything we don't love.
For my meal, I got the wild mushroom pizza, which I ate for the next 2 days! It was very flavorful with the addition of leeks, broccolini, & some garlic. It was a bit oily, but after a couple blots it was good. The crust was also the perfect thickness.
Overall, a great option for late night quality dining with great service!
