  • I've been to DBG two times. It is a nice place to go to be outside, see various desert vegetation, and take photos. The second time I went on a Monday, which was great, because the park was not crowded at all. There is a main trail in the park, which takes about 30-60 minutes to tour. There are also several smaller trails and side-exhibits to explore. The butterfly tent has different butterflies at different times of the year and is a great place for macro photos. DBG is a nice place to make an annual visit. I recommend going on a day that is not too hot and making sure that your skin is well covered. It seems that weekdays may be less crowded, which is great for photographers.
