  • Run. I got a pedicure. Three days later my big toe was red and swollen. Thank God three nightly epsom salt baths cured it, but getting an infection from a nail salon is frightening. Also, though the location is terrific, and it is pretty and clean inside, the atmosphere is weird. A woman across from me had her grown son there who was given three full glasses of free wine (it was noon) while he waited with mommy who was getting her nails done. Weird.
