I honestly do not believe you can get a better hotel for the price and quality than the Hyatt Place. Whenever we need to take a flight we purposely stay here the night before to avoid going through the tunnels and possibly missing our flight.
When you first enter there is a semi circle, half front desk and half bar. There is plenty of seating if you'd like to work, grab a drink, or get some food (BTW their pizza is amazing for a hotel). There is also a kiosk for directions and to check into your flight. The decor is a nice with muted colors and lots of wood and glass.
The rooms are incredibly spacious with a sitting area, bedroom area, and vanity area with a sink. The bathrooms are a bit snug to make room for all of that as you have to wedge yourself against the shower to open the door (it should be swinging out instead of in). The beds are medium and same with the pillows.
Around the hotel there are many corporate places to dine as well as some up and coming restaurants. The mall is about a five minute drive away. It is about a 20 minute drive to the airport so it is close enough for shuttle service. It is about 30-60 minutes through the tunnel depending on the time of day (rush hour) if you're considering staying here for an in town event. Take note of the time and event when planning your commute. The pool is comfortable but if they're renovating they will at least give you a heads up when you reserve through their hotel.
I really enjoy staying at this hotel. If you go to any city with a Hyatt Place just stay there. It is almost always the best option and almost every single one is the exact same it is like being in the Twilight Zone! Enjoy!
