  • Came here for Drivers Ed and lessons for my G2, and I was really impressed at first with Monika, Sarita, and Dal, since they made learning not so boring in class. On the contrary, I wasn't so impressed with their receptionist (I think Debbie was her name). I called in to book my road test when she told me I couldn't because I wasn't done with my driving lessons. Ok...she then told me she was currently with a client so she would call me back in 15 minutes (I left my name and phone # too)... ok no biggie. Afterwards, I waited an hour, and she never called back, so I had decided to give her another call. Everything went fine, and she said that she would call with my driving instructor to book the last few lesson. I never got a confirmation call from my driving instructor after a full week of booking, so I decided to call my instructor to confirm. Turns out, my lesson with him was never booked so I had to book it once more. Honestly, kinda annoyed at this point... Driving lessons were also pretty good. My driving instructor was Paul and he was extremely kind and patient in teaching me. I already had a lot of driving experience by then so his job wasn't too hard. The car was an old Toyota Corolla, and the brakes were kinda squeaky. Not in the best condition, but this place was advertised as cheaper than many others... Oh wait, it wasn't. When all my lessons were finally completed, I was under the impression that the fee was $425 which seemed to be cheaper than other places by at least $50-$60. However, it was advertised without tax which came up to be $480.25 which matches other competitors. In addition, I was charged an extra $10 for what I assume to be the price of the workbook they provide. Lots of charges that weren't outlined in their website unlike other competitors. Also, in order to use the instructor's car, it's an additional $125. If you want an insurance discount, certification is another $20 (a lot of places have this as inclusive). At this point, I kinda regretted coming to this school. While I did pass my G2, now that I'm driving, I'm noticing a lot more companies with much nicer cars, yet priced similar with this place. The additional annoyances with their organizational skills just pushed me off the edge on how I feel about this place. It's a shame because I did refer another friend here, and her experience wasn't too good either. Anyways, I don't think I would recommend this place, just because I feel like in such a competitive industry, they could've done a lot better. Tl;dr *1 star for professionalism, and organization. *** 3 stars for instructors.
