  • They changed their recipe!!!! Their so called "custard" is not custard. You can tell from the taste, look, and texture of it that it is just regular bag-mix cheap ice cream. Mine had ice crystals all throughout it and was severely lacking in flavor. What they are serving is the same stuff you can get a McDonald's where they pour a bag of premade "ice cream mix" into the ice cream machine, mix it with water, and call it ice cream. My husband and I used to be loyal customers of this place and would drive 20 mins from our house every time we wanted dessert. We went last night and felt so cheated after we were served this crap. If you are going to serve cheap ice cream then call it "soft serve ice cream" not custard. You are leading your customers on to believe that they are getting actual custard. It is apparent that you are trying to cut cost by using the cheap bag mix ice cream but you can't lie to your customers or expect them to pay your prices when they can get the same stuff at McDonald's for 99 cent a cone!
