Pulling into the lot I was immediately concerned because the outside windows were dirty and the first three floors of the hotel were covered with boxes. When I stepped into the lobby I thought I was in my local Chinese restaurant. The staff was very friendly but something felt really off about the place (the Bitcoin ATM in the lobby didn't really help this notion). When we got onto our floor it smelled like cigarettes despite signs everywhere that say no smoking. Then there were weird wires going into our hotel room they lead to the room next door but it was locked. At first inspection of the room, it was tidy for the most part aside from the dust particles in the air. The bathroom lights were flickering I felt like I was in a horror movie. Under my bed, while we were checking for roaches we found an empty 30 pack of beer. The bed was really comfortable though. After we came back from our concert there were very strange people in the lobby. The vibe of the hotel was even creepier at night, due to that we ended up searching the entire room for cameras or recording devices because it felt like it might possibly that type of place. When we realized our AC wasn't working we also found out that we could open the windows in our room.... on the 7th floor... that didn't have screens. When we went outside to have a smoke we traveled in a pack so no one would be alone at any point (it was that kind of place). In the morning saw the "cleaning crews" cart and equipment... it's stolen shopping carts from family dollar. Also, the store in the lobby has literally not changed since the hotel's last post of it back in 2016... literally the same exact bags of chips, it felt like this place wasn't even real, like the set of some weird horror movie. Didn't sleep at all that night but the bed was comfortable while I waited for someone to bust into my room and sell me and my friends into human trafficking. Lots of laughs and really weird stories and interactions from this stay. Wouldn't stay again. wouldn't recommend (especially to pretty young girls), if that desperate just sleep in your car.
