| - So I went back to see a new doctor and he totally messed up my tooth. Now it's aching and I'm afraid I have an infection.
So some of the things he did that made me upset:
After he injected the numbing liquid, I felt a lot of extra liquid coming out and instead having me spit it out, he asked me to swallow it. HELL NO! Then what, my throat is going to be numb. Yeah I don't think so.
After grinding my molars down to prep it for partial crown, he tells me to swallow the water he just sprayed on my mouth along with the residue from my teeth. Isn't that why they have those suction tools for? If you as me that's just pure laziness or experienced Doctor. He did this throughout the procedure.
Then he would prep my mouth so that he can start working on my tooth, then walk away. UMMM hello! You've been working on my tooth for awhile now and my mouth has been opened 90% of the time. Just because I am numb, it doesn't mean it's ok to have me keep my mouth open and walk away to ask another doctor if whatever your doing is correct? My husband was outside and saw him come out multiple times during my procedure.
Lastly, when I made my appointment today, after I already complained about his work, the lady in the front puts me with him again. Isn't there notes that say, I don't want the new guy! Now I have to go back and probably have to pay more money because someone did a crappy job and messed up my tooth. It never felt the way it did until they worked on it and it's been over 3 weeks. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if the pain went away but it didn't.
If you come here make sure you see someone experienced. DO NOT see someone that's been there for a few months.
As far as cleaning and the basics, this new doctor was good. When things get complicated, I would look somewhere else. Wishing I could change dentist right now but I'm stuck.
Oh yeah the X-ray technician and the assistant were all very nice. They seemed to know how to do things better than the new dentist. Just saying. Be careful who you book with.
