Horrible experience today. I went in to get new wheels and tires, that I had already purchased, mounted. They weren't the same size as what was on my car (17's to 19's I was upgrading). I had done my homework when buying my wheels and tires and was happy with my decision. Since they were different spec tires than what was on the car I notified my service advisor Antonio ahead of time. I knew of a potential liability issue that they might not want to deal with. So I asked if this would be an issue for them so that I could find somewhere else to get it done if it was a problem. Antonio said he asked his manager and it wouldn't be a problem. Awesome! Antonio said it would take atleast 2 hours. No problem, I grabbed an uber to blow some time else where. I came back 2.5 hours later having not heard from them but thinking I could wait the rest of my time in their lobby. My car hadn't been touched. They were busy, no big deal. I asked Antonio how much longer it would be. He said my car was next. Sounds good, shouldn't take long now. 10 min go by and Antonio says he can't mount my wheels and tires on my car. Okay, what seems to be the problem? The tire specs aren't the same so they don't want to be liable. Hmm this is why I asked about it at the beginning. He spoke to the manager again, didn't budge. No can do! Way to lie to my face about asking your manager in the first place. Come to find out at the next tire shop I went to, the tire that I bought is a factory option tire offered on the same make and model car. I've been here before and was happy with the service then but after this time, I will not be back.
