| - Aside from the cafe decor temporarily filling me with dread by reminding me of Church and CCD growing up (Pews for seating? uh, forgive me, Father, but maybe if you actually gave me coffee during those CCD lessons, I wouldn't have fallen asleep all those times... but I digress), Saint-Henri was one of my fave stops for coffee in my past few visits to MTL. I've purchased the beans for home brew, had the beans brewed at various indie coffee shops in the city, and of course had drinks brewed here at home base. The coffee is so smooth! Montreal has a LOT of great coffee shops, what makes this one even more special is they also roast in-house and offer various tasting experiences. For example, you buy a bag of beans, you get a free brewed coffee of the day and if you get your timing right, Saint-Henri even offers public cuppings so you can educate yourself further on all things coffee. Free wifi is available too if you care to reminisce about Sunday school. Come check it out and see for yourself. It's all good. Amen.
