  • The vibe: Ultra modern, clean, French patisserie that looks like it could be Willy Wonka's science lab. Look inside the glass counter and your eyes will marvel at all the wonderful colours of the pastries, macarons and cakes. The people behind Nadege are artists as much as they are magicians in the kitchen. The food: The macarons are absolutely delicious. So many flavours. They make a great gift. If you're stopping in for lunch grab some soup and a sandwich. I love the goat cheese and fig croissant. Another little treat I like to grab is the canelĂ©, baked custard bites of delight. The drinks: Delicious espresso and lattes. My go-to meal: The breakfast croissant. Scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato. Yes, it sounds simple. But man, is it ever mighty. Secret: If you're crushing on a lady, buy her a box of macarons.
