This would be a really cool place to go on a casual date. It would make you seem cooler than you are and even give you and interesting personality if you don't really have one (not forever but anything helps). I've brought a few friends here and it's really awesome! I prefer the tea-based mocktails.
I will say the service is kind of... awkward? Since it's a co-op everyone knows each other and so there might be awkward employees kind of gathered near the register either from the salons or otherwise. Both times I've gone I felt awkward ordering because I felt like I was interrupting something. Not a big deal if you are comfortable getting attention?
A barista commented on my acne by saying "so what are you doing about your face" and then recommended lush products. I'm pregnant and never wear makeup: my skin has been changing all the time and I haven't found the right new product to try and treat my skin. I think she was trying to be nice (?) but it was really inappropriate and made me feel insecure (low key cried in the car). Nice people just weird interactions, I guess.
