Swanky interior, luxury suite rooms, a large pool and TAO nightclub. What has been true for The Venetian 10 years ago still holds true today. With my recent visit though I couldn't help but notice a couple of things:
Rooms: still nice but look a bit dated now. The hotel has been around for a while now and you see some wear and tear (bathrooms).
Price/Value: The rates are expensive, and on top of it they'll make sure you spend your money in one of the restaurants or overpriced bakeries. No coffee machine in the room.
TAO: This super popular nightclub may be your blessing or your curse. Depending on the main act that night it can attract a weird crowd, and pool time is overshadowed by the beats of the nearby TAO pool. If you're here however for one of the acts then staying at the Venetian is an obvious choice.
Casino: More on the pricier side and not as crowded as nearby Harrah's or Linq.
