  • Amazing location, and with access to the subway just outside the front door. The room views are spectacular, especially at night. Our suite had a shower and separate jacuzzi tub, a kitchenette with a dishwasher AND WASHER/DRYER for laundry omg (so nice, why doesn't every hotel do this?!), and a surprising amount of space (in a good way) for a downtown city hotel. I ended up sick with the flu for most of this trip, so I spent plenty of time in bed, across the street at the oh-so-convenient shop, or on the phone with room service. I can say with certainty that the bed is very comfy, the location is easy, and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. ...I will say I'd prefer if they'd had wifi in the rooms, perhaps that's been updated since December 2010? I wish we had come back to 1KW on our second visit to Toronto, but we'd thought variety would serve us better (it didn't). Third time's a charm, again, I hope!
