  • The most amazing strawberry shortcake you will find in Toronto, ever. It is not often that you get a cake and have people keep telling you how good it was - this is the reaction you get when you serve up their strawberry shortcake. Amazing texture, right amount of cream, and the chocolate on top adds such a nice touch. It's like biting into strawberry heaven. I had found out about this place from a co-worker who brought one of their cakes to work - my colleagues and I kept going for seconds since it was the best strawberry shortcake I've had pretty much ever. I then find out this place is a small little shop located in Yorkville and kept this in mind for future cake purchases. I'm very happy to see that they've leveraged e-commerce and I was able to order my cake online - you can check out their full assortment of offerings there too! For a Yorkville shop, the price was definitely agreeable and not expensive. I ordered an 8" strawberry shortcake for $35 (they do delivery but it cost me an arm and a leg so I went and picked it up instead). Street parking located right in front of the store (always full though) but there's also a Green P lot right next door too so very convenient for those driving. Bay/Bloor subway station right nearby too for commuters. Now that I was my turn to present the cake at a party, I experienced what my co-worker experienced, everyone loved the cake and the whole thing was finished in a matter of seconds. Definitely a great crowd pleaser! They usually have a strawberry shortcake in the store if you're looking to get it last minute since that's one of their most popular ones. They also sell candles for $2/pack and some birthday cards too for those running short on time! I can't stop raving about the strawberry shortcake but with so many options, I'm definitely going to see if their other cakes can deliver the same impact!
