My husband and I stopped here for dinner. He ordered the shrimp and scallops, so the chef cooked everything and started packing up and my husband advised the chef that he forgot his scallops. The chef started communicating with the host in Japense and the chef, visibly upset, went to the back and returned with scallops. He then proceeded to tell my husband to give him 5 shrimp back off of his plate. The whole table stopped eating and just stared at the chef in disbelief, including myself. My husband repeated the instructions just to ensure that he heard him correctly. He advised the chef that it was their mistake, but it fell on deaf ears. So he had to wait until the scallops were cooked, while the rest of his food sat cold. After dinner he asked for the manager, who advised it was policy to give back the food. I told him it was the tackiest thing I ever seen or heard and they will never again get our business. Thanks for losing a loyal customer!
