One word to describe my experience at Waterfront Dentistry...uncomfortable. I, like many other reviewers, received a "free" teeth whitening kit from the Bridal Expo. I figured, it's free so why not? The staff were decently nice but I couldn't help but feel like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. The hygienist took photos of my teeth and mentioned that it looked like I had a few cavities. I had just been to my regular dentist a few months before and came out with a clean bill of health, so that was a bit of a surprise. She showed me the "cavities" and said they'd likely need to remove a large part of the tooth and fill it. The Doctor then took a look and said they didn't look like cavities to him, but that I had several areas in my mouth that he was concerned about. I'm sure that if I had any serious issues, my dentist would have told me about them, but what do I know? I was in the office for about an hour and 15 minutes, which seemed excessive...especially since I was only there to pick up a free whitening kit.
After reading another bride's experience whose insurance was charged for her visit, I will be keeping an eye out to make sure they don't bill me. I'm not sure how a business can operate this way and still have a number of positive reviews. If you're a bride who has won a free whitening kit from the expo, I urge you not to waste your time at Waterfront Dentistry.
