| - I went to this office previously before when Dr. Porter owned this office. Needless to say, there was a reason why he no longer runs that office.
12/2010 - I decided to give the new owners a chance. No complaints other than getting out of the office a lot later than I expected. Seemed as though the dentist was taking care of multiple patients at a time and lost track of time. But since I had told them before anything started that I had to be to work at 9:00am - they assured me, I would get to work on time. I didn't leave until 9:00am.
Fast forward -
12/14/11 - I called the office and spoke with Amy about a bill I received practically a year after services. After inquiring about the bill, she did some research and told me it was billed incorrectly and instead of a balance, I had a credit. She asked me if I wanted the credit to remain in the system of a refund.
I figured I could use the credit for a cleaning so asked about a cleaning. Amy told me they'd recommend that I get a full exam and cleaning. I used my benefits elsewhere earlier this year so I wasn't sure what benefits if any I had left. She told me she would check and call me back. I tentatively scheduled an appt for 12/22.
On 12/19 at 4:25pm, I realized Amy never called me back so I called the office to inquire about my benefits. I spoke with Sarah. She put me on hold several times and told me Amy would call me back the following day at 9:45am to explain my benefits. Because I knew I would incur a charge if I didn't cancel my appt within the 48 hour window, I asked her if she knew if I had any benefits left for the year, again she put me on hold (I could hear her talking in the background with Amy) and she finally came back and told me they "were leaving and of course had things to do" and that she couldn't answer my questions but Amy would call me back the next day. Pretty much quoted verbatim, no exaggeration. Pretty much after that, I had no desire to go back to this office.
Still annoyed by the lack of professionalism, I researched their hours and found that they closed at 4:00pm on Monday. It would've probably been in Sarah's best interest to say the office was closed and she was unable to pull up my info instead of putting me on hold 4 times and ultimately telling me she was leaving and had other things to do.
Needless to say, I requested for a refund that I was due and will not be going back.
