| - So came here yesterday with a friend, and it was pretty average. We were seated quickly, and the space is nice (and huge because they share it with BierMarkt next door - including their menu which is nice).
Service was A+, he was attentive without being overbearing, and very personable. He also made a point of trying to help us order beer that we would actually like, which doesn't always happen; as well as quite knowledgeable about the menu as he's apparently "researched = sampled" it all.
The food was pretty underwhelming. The goose island beef sandwich was bland, lukewarm, and seemed like a "beef sandwich" you'd heat up in the microwave and eat. The charcuterie boards are okay, but the bread is cold and tastes stale, and the offerings (we got prosciutto, blue cheese, and brussel sprouts) are all things that would be 300% cheaper and doable at home. The markt salad was nice, not overdressed, and very pretty, but pretty unmemorable.
The space is nice, and it was quite busy (I think there might have been some kind of hockey game, saw a lot of jerseys).
Would I go back? Maybe for a drink, but I definitely won't be rushing back.
