  • Authentic Spanish food for sure. Having lived in Valencia, Sangria and Paella are the Holy Grail of Mediterranean Spanish food and should not be attempted by amateurs or family restaurants. Mallorca pulls off both for the perfect Spanish meal while the restaurant itself gives you a European atmosphere (though not particularly Spanish to be honest). Paella had a great Spanish rice, rabbit, chicken, mussels, lobster, scallops, shrimp and vegetables all cooked into perfection. Went here for my birthday with the fam so price was not an issue (always a great way to get a feel for a restaurant - not pay). The staff actually were Portuguese but were friendly and helpful with the menu and attending to our table. At the end of the night, they had caught wind that it was my day and brought out a large cake for us all without anyone having to drop hints. Definitely going back when I can afford it on my own.
