If you are having your dog spayed for the $469.02 that I paid for mine, I would advise you to search around for some place different. Being new to the area and doing my research on prices and quality of care, I was sold on bringing my dog to this hospital because they said on the phone and in person that this price included blood tests before surgery and anesthesia with the surgery. The price was a lot more than any other place I checked. This didn't matter to me if I knew I was getting A+ quality service and care for my dog. Unfortunately this place was disorganized and had me fill out the same paperwork before surgery and after surgery because they lost my paperwork by the time I came to pick her up. The facility is not that nice for the amount of money they charge but these are minor inconveniences. The big problem is that there has been a spot on my dogs eye since I picked her up. We did not think much of it, thinking it may have been a minor injury and would heal - it never did. Since surgery my 12 pound cavalier will rarely allow anyone to pick her up without yelping now. I called this facility to get a copy of the blood work they said was good upon pick up - and was told there was NO blood work done. And DO NOT think that University Hospital is in Any way associated with Arizona State University because it is NOT. This place lied to me and that is not ok. Now I question if anesthesia was even used!
