| - First off, I think Dr. Dixit and some areas of his practice are great. I get monthly IV infusions in their infusion center and that staff is AWESOME! The front and back offices, however, are sub-par. They have a history of changing appointments on me without my knowledge. I schedule my appointments for 3:15. That never changes and I put it in my calendar as I'm sitting with the checkout staff and repeat it to them to which they confirm my appointment. Today, I get a voicemail confirming my appointment at 2:30 tomorrow, 45 minutes earlier than what I'm actually scheduled. Literally two minutes later, I call the office to confirm my appointment and gave my last name and DOB (I didn't mention any appointment time whatsoever) and my appointment was confirmed...for 3:00 tomorrow!! We're all human who are prone to mistakes, but this happens at least once every other month. It's ridiculous.
Secondly, due to the infusions, I get debilitating headaches. It's a side effect of the infusions. Dr. Dixit and his DNP won't prescribe anything to minimize the impact these headaches have. Funny how they'll prescribe a several thousand dollar per month treatment but won't prescribe something other than ibuprofen for headaches. I'm scheduled monthly for my infusions and if it weren't for that, I'd jump ship to another neurologist. Depending on how my next appt goes, I may end up doing that anyway.
